As far back as I can
remember, I have always
been fascinated with
stationary, card
making, organization
and above all taking
and sharing pictures of
family and friends.
Scrapbooking is a hobby
that involves all four and has become my passion.
My husband Dave and I went through the process of
adopting a beautiful baby girl from Guatemala. In
true fashion of being first time parents, we have
taken an endless amount of pictures of our daughter.
Upon sorting through these photos and picking out
our very favorites, we realized we needed a perfect
way to display her pictures for everyone to see. It was
in this moment that I decided to pursue my passion
and started creating beautiful scrapbooks to preserve
the precious memories of our baby girl every step of
the way. I am so proud of the albums and have had
so much fun sharing them with family and friends.
During the excitement of sharing these albums with
various family members something unexpected
happened, I started to get several requests to make
albums for the people who saw mine. It was then
that I realized there was an opportunity to share my
talents and passion for scrapbooking with others.
For me, scrapbooking has provided a way to go back
and bring all of my old, dusty photo albums to life.
In creating my scrapbooks, I have realized that the
stories and time frames of photos tend to get lost as
the months and years go by. My hope is to use my
skills to create albums for other families so they can
enjoy their memories for years to come!
